Off to the Great Northwest

We have a 3 AM wake-up to make our early flight to Vancouver so I though I’d test the blog to make sure everyone is connected.

We had a farewell kayak on the beautiful Crosswicks Creek a couple of days ago. Marsha accidentally set her iPhone camera to the black & white setting. Quite an amazing accidental photo. Thought I’d share it with you all as part of this test. Let me know if you get this OK.

Thanks to those of you who gave us some great recommendations for the trip. If you’re all set…let’s go!

  2. captaindale – Captain Dale Elsa Norley holds a USCG 100-ton license with over 140,000 nm experience including eight transatlantic voyages. She has been a writer for Latitudes & Attitudes magazine since its original conception and a part of the corporate publishing world before turning to yacht delivery full time. Educated at University of Pennsylvania, she is a single mother of two grown daughters, has three grandsons, one granddaughter and is an avid rider and foxhunter. Until recently, she was a singlehander and liveaboard on her Hardin Voyager 44, Estimated Prophet. Recently relocated to Chester County, PA and newly married, Captain Norley continues to deliver vessels from New England to Bermuda and the Caribbean, Southern and Northern Pacific, as well as Transatlantic deliveries. With much catamaran and traditional monohull experience, she brings with her an attention to detail, love of sailing and an extreme respect for the vessels she skippers.

Looking forward to your adventure (in color or in black and white). Perhaps Marsha can set her phone to ‘purple’ instead of black and white!
